How to enjoy the weekend for under RM20—less money more benefits.
For my opinion, every teenagers prefer weekend more than weekdays because it is the day which they free from their busy study life which as busy as a bee. Most of students enjoy their weekend very much with several of activities. But less people will enjoy their weekend for under RM20. So, what can we enjoy our weekend without wasting money more than RM20?
According to my investigation on my friends, I found that most of them spending more than RM20 for their weekend because RM20 seems like not enough even just for a lunch at Starbucks or secret recipe. Other than that, the activities they do mostly are watching movie, shopping, going to karaoke and eating. But do realize that all this kind of activities which student always does actually spent a lot of money. We should not waste our parent money on this kind of non-beneficial activities.
For my opinion, we can actually focus our weekend on doing exercise and sport with family or friends. For example, jogging at the lakeside or park, playing badminton, playing football and swimming are good activities which free of any charge and save a lot of money during our weekend. Doing these activities actually bring more benefits to us rather than doing activities like watching movies which spent lots of money. Firstly, it can strengthen the relationship between friends or family with us. Secondly, it will make us stay healthier and then increase the resistance to disease in our body.
As a student like me, studying, do revision and doing homework are the best way to make us spent our weekend more meaningful and spent less money. Every one of us knows that study is the most important part in our life which will decide our future later. So spending time on studying in the public library or in our room is more beneficial than spending time for entertainment which gives us nothing. We should always be well prepare for every test and exam instead of doing last minutes study because last minutes study mostly carry more risk for us to fail in the exam.
Other than that, we can do activities which help us relax and happy. For example, we can practice dancing, singing, playing musical instrument like piano or guitar, and even playing other games among our friends. All of this kind of activities mostly no need spent money. So, we gain happiness from the activities and at the same time improve our social skill in maintaining the relationship between us with different type of friends. Besides that, playing musical instrument can sharpen our talent in the field of arts while dancing can make us slim and avoid from obesity.
Last but not least, I think that we should really spent some time in planning our weekend so that we can spent less money and do more beneficial things. We can do it if we really work hard on it. Don’t always spend our parent money on that kind of entertainment. We can spend money on entertainment, but don’t do it frequently unless the money is earned by us, then u can do what u want. Time is the most precious thing in the world, so we must use it in the right way because time will never come back once it gone. We can enjoy weekend for under RM20 if we do the good thing!
