Hook:

Is that possible for a teenager to spend and enjoy the weekend for less than twenty dollars?
Background info:
Everyone is happy to see the weekend roll around but dread the cost that comes with spending a weekend out and about. However, going out on the weekend doesn’t have to end up with an empty wallet. There are plenty of fun and enjoyable activities we can do on the weekend for less than twenty dollars.

Thesis statement:
Shopping or going out for dinner at deluxe restaurant can be costly, however, the cheaper options are getting close to the nature by jogging in the park, having picnic with best buddies and watching movie with family members.

Body paragraph 1:
Jogging in the park nearby with some friends is one of the best options for us to spend the weekend.
·         A good and healthy outdoor activity
·         Get close to the nature
·         Get fresh air
·         Exercise is good for health
·         Foster the bond of friendship

Body paragraph 2:
We can hold a small gathering with picnic in the park after jogging.
·         BBQ or steamboats can be costly compare with picnic
·         Bring some foods from home like spaghetti, sandwiches, salad and fruits
·         Gather around a park bench or table
·         Let the joy of eating together bring friends closer
·         Share the life experiences together

Enjoy an interesting movie at home with family members can save a lot too.
·         Get some DVDs or check out the TV guide and have a movie fest
·         Share some times with family members
·         Sharing is caring
·         Foster the relationship among family members

Conclusion:
Last but not least, jogging, picnic and watching movies are the great ways for us to have fun and spend the weekend with less than twenty dollars. Yet, there are many other things that can be done on weekend without burning through our savings. It just takes some planning and a little imagination.
