The theme found in the short movie One Man Band is greed. This can be seen when the small girl got attracted by the second musician and decides to watch his performance when she actually intended to drop the gold coin in the first musician's cup. This made the first musician become greedy thinking that the money is his. This also happened to the second musician as he thought he deserve the gold coin the most. Both the musicians tried their best to impress the little girl but luck was not on their side as the only gold coin she had at that time dropped into the drain. Greed is a crucial theme in this short movie.
